Delivery Time

Further information regarding the production of the piece, including an accurate delivery estimate, will be provided to you following any subsequent order. Item expected to be dispatched, approximately 4-6 weeks after an order has been placed.  

Après Beach Chambray Teba Jacket

The Après Beach Chambray Teba Jacket, has been produced from authentic Japanese cotton. Woven in incredibly small batches on shuttle looms, which creates a slightly uneven weave. This technique of production and fabric composition, produces a breathable and aesthetically pleasing design.

Constructed with a high thread count, so that the chambray fabric becomes lightweight and airy, with a subtle feel.

This particular piece has been designed and created, closely alongside the companies creative director Mr. Cordeaux, after he noticed a 'wardrobe gap' for a practical, yet smart and casual jacket, with the intention of being worn after a warm day on the beach, or for a leisurely evening meal.

Featuring an unlined inner for breathability purposes, real horn buttons through a 4 button fastening, an inner pocket, as well as envelope style cuffs.   

Presented in a shade of chambray blue, combined with the unique characteristics of the Japanese cotton, make for a perfect summer's evening jacket.

Please Note: -

Due to the garments dyed colour process, we recommend only washing the jacket when essential. Please wash separately in cold water, to avoid colour transfer. Keep away from white clothing to prevent any possible colour transfer. Do not tumble dry. 

After prolonged use, the jacket will develop wear in some areas, as well as forming a beautiful patina through its coloured dye. These are considered unique characteristics to each garment, individual to each owner after years of extended use.

FOX TEBA JACKETS

The first Teba Jacket was created on Savile Row for the need of King Alfonso XIII of Spain. As he was a hunter, this light and comfortable jacket was ideal for the practice of his favorite sport. The King offered, in act of generosity, this jacket to one of his friends and hunting partners, the Count of Teba, who rigorously wore it during all his excursions in the Spanish countryside. Since then, the jacket took the name of its new owner: Teba.

Justo Gimeno’s started in 1885 when he travelled to Argentina and began training as a tailor. When he returned to Spain, he opened his first workshop at Zaragoza, the city where Justo Gimeno is still operating today. Since that time Gimeno’s family realized high quality, British inspired, casual and hunting clothes. One of their famous products is the iconic Teba Jacket, well-known all over Spain.

Fox Brothers, the English woollen mill established in Somerset in 1772 is credited with being the originator of fine woollen and worsted flannels during the last century and is still said to produce the best in the world. According to style connoisseurs, when choosing flannel, “always be sure to ask for it (Fox) by name”.

We now collect the VAT based on the country from which you place your order.

UK Shipping - £8.50 + VAT on all orders within mainland UK except furniture. 

Services to Russia

Due to the ongoing situation surrounding Russia, we shall not be offering shipment of any of our products to the country.

Whilist we are closely monitoring the events and circumstances, this shipping suspension will remain in place for the foreseeable future. However, should there be any further changes to this development, we will keep you informed.

We would like to take this opportunity, to offer our deepest sympathy, to all those affected by the current conflict within Ukraine. Both Fox Brothers and The Merchant Fox, stand in solidarity with Ukraine during this tragic time.

Import regulations and duties

If you order goods from our site for delivery outside the UK & EU they may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.

In the unlikely event that you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 14 days of receipt and we would be happy to assist you with your return.

If you would like us to arrange your return shipment please get in contact. The cost of the return will be deducted from your refund or invoiced separately.

We cannot accept returns on any Pre-ordered or custom made Items.
