PROVENANCE [ P. LE MOULT NIGHTWEAR ]

Based on the original wardrobe of the adventurer E. Le Moult, a range of sleepwear has been re-released by his great-grand-daughter.

Eugène Le Moult grew up in the French department on the Amazon, later to become the world's №1 butterfly hunter. When hunting he would sleep in tents in the rainforest, together with tribal guides and felon helpers from the French tropical gulag.

E. Le Moult insisted on function in his clothes and The Merchant Fox is proud to carry this phenomenal sleepwear. A little naïve insect embroidery placed on a cuff or near the waistband references back to the garment’s historic origin.
